Miaofang Chi Named ORNL Scientist of the Year

Please join the CHMS Department in congratulating one of our graduate alumni, Miaofang Chi.  Chi does pioneering research in analytical electron microscopy at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she recently won three awards at the annual awards banquet.  She received the Director’s Award for Outstanding Individual Accomplishment in Science and Technology and the Early Career Researcher Award, in addition to being named Scientist of the Year.  Click here for more information about Chi’s research and awards.
