Bio
He is currently visiting UC Davis from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, where he is the T.L. Diamond Distinguished Chair in Engineering and Applied Science, and Professor of Materials Science and Engineering. He is an author of 12 patents and over 420 research publications on glass science and technology. His scholarly work has focused on introducing new functionality and novel processing of glass through fundamentals, developing new models of STEM doctoral training, and making glass education available worldwide freely.
