Position Title
Assistant Professor

  • Materials Science and Engineering
2002 Kemper Hall
Bio

Dr. Pant leads The Atomistic Theory and Optimization of Materials (ATOM) Lab at UC Davis. The ATOM Lab studies how atomic-scale physics determines the performance of semiconductor devices for electronics and optoelectronics that will enable next generation AI, quantum, and energy technologies. By combining quantum chemistry, device physics, and machine learning, the goal of this work is to discover and design more sustainable and energy-efficient materials and technologies.
